About Us
Welcome to First Baptist Church Elberton. Our mission is to lead people on a life changing journey to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28-30). We encourage this life change through: growing, loving, serving and sharing.
We embrace the fact that God has made us all uniquely. We believe the Church is at its best when we are practicing our individual gifts, as well as supporting each other in unity.
For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints — and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us.
